Learnify Terms of Service

The Platform is an online marketplace that connects students with independent professionals, including language teachers, psychologists, and translators.

• Provides visibility and discovery of professionals
• Facilitates initial bookings and trial class payments
• Does not deliver educational, psychological, or translation services

All services are provided independently by professionals.

There are three types of users on the Platform:

• Students – individuals seeking services
• Professionals – independent teachers, psychologists, translators
• Administrators – platform operators managing content and access

Each user agrees to use the Platform only within their assigned role.

• Students may register for free
• Professionals must register and maintain an active monthly subscription
• Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms

• Professionals control their own profiles, pricing, lesson duration, and availability
• Minimum lesson price is $15 applies
• The Platform does not verify professional credentials unless explicitly stated
• Earnings, number of students, or private agreements are not displayed

• Trial classes may be free or paid, at the professional’s discretion
• Paid trial classes follow the Platform’s defined revenue split
• After a trial class, ongoing lessons and schedules are arranged directly between the student and professional
• The Platform is not responsible for off-platform agreements or disputes

• Payments may be made via third-party providers (card, PayPal, bank transfer)
• The Platform does not store full payment details
• For non-trial services, payments are made directly to professionals
• Subscription fees paid by professionals are non-refundable unless stated otherwise

• The Platform does not provide mandatory internal chat or messaging
• Direct contact is enabled only after a trial booking or explicit request
• Users are responsible for their communications outside the Platform

• Students may submit reviews based on genuine experiences
• Reviews must be honest, respectful, and non-defamatory
• The Platform reserves the right to moderate or remove reviews

• Access your personal data
• Request correction or deletion
• Withdraw consent for communications
• Request information about data usage

Requests can be submitted via our contact page.

• Misrepresent identity or qualifications
• Circumvent platform fees or rules
• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
• Post misleading, abusive, or harmful content

Violations may result in suspension or termination.

• The Platform does not guarantee outcomes, results, or service quality
• Professionals are independent contractors, not employees
• The Platform is not responsible for disputes or damages arising from services

• Service quality or outcomes
• Off-platform agreements
• Loss of data, income, or opportunities

Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

Users may close their accounts at any time. The Platform may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or legal reasons. Subscription cancellation takes effect according to subscription terms.

Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
